In my opinion, it feels like I’ve struggled to keep up with the times. I can’t still cling to my 2017 championship and act like it means anything. It’s survival of the fittest and baby I just got sent to fat camp.

Super Banana Bombs

Another year, another streaky performance. Brent finished 9-5 in the regular season, including.a 4-game win streak from Week 9 to Week 12. However, he ultimately did what Brent does best, losing in the first round; this time to David in embarrassing fashion.

2022

Marion Mystery Remotes

It somehow got worse! Brent’s team notched a league low 4 wins in 2022 and only managed to limp into the playoffs due to an extremely unique situation before being mercifully being assassinated, Ol’ Yeller style, by Chad in the first round.

2021

Brentino’s Big Whops

Call it a bad season, call it the Brentino curse. Whatever you make of it, it’s hard to imagine a worse season for an original MNY member, much less a co-commissioner. Brent’s team posted their first ever sub .500 season in 2021 and topped it off by missing the playoffs and losing the final consolation game vs Kelvin to secure an 8th place finish.

Chineekersville Flames

How sad for the 2017 champion. Another middling season and a first round exit for Brent certainly does not help the “not a good fantasy manager” allegations.

Olmec Head Olmec Head

Inconsistency was the name of the game for Brent in 2019. He was never able to get any real momentum going into the playoffs. He was bounced in round one by David

2018

Charlotte Cranes

Brent started the 2018 season as hot as he did in 2017. Eventually ending on a 10-3 record and earning a bye in the playoffs, Brent was eliminated by Andrew. Thus, wasting a perfectly good ten-win season

2017

The HunieCams

The HunieCams came out of the gate swinging in the 2017 season, only losing 2 games. The HC’s secured a first-round bye in the playoffs and won the South division. Brent defeated Ryan’s Daddy Donalds to win his first Maybe Next Year League championship.

2016

Thanks Guys

After a lackluster inaugural season that somehow found Brent in the finals, Thanks Guys looked to build on the Coroner’s failures. Despite having the third-best regular season record, Thanks Guys was bounced in the first round of the playoffs by Ryan.

UNC-Concord Coroners

The UNC-Concord Coroners was Brent’s original team in the inaugural season of the Maybe Next Year League, formed in 2015. The team went 7-7 on the year before losing to Andrew in the Commiship.
