The Kindest Bowlers

With a second championship appearance under his belt, Ryan looks to have his sixth straight season with a top half finish in the league. He holds the 6th pick.

2024 Record: TBD

2023

Coddle Creek Beavers

Ryan yet again toed the line between fantasy mediocrity and excellence in 2023, boasting a blissful .500 record in the regular season. While Patrick Mahomes and Christian McCaffrey may have led him to a regular-seeming regular season, in the playoffs, they catapulted him straight to the championship. He (unfortunately) fell to Andrew.

2023 Record: 7-7 (2nd, lost in championship)

2022

Concord Fire 3 #CF3-15

Patrick Mahomes and Derrick Henry could only carry Ryan to 6 wins in his 7th season in the league. Despite his struggles during the regular season, Ryan did well enough to earn himself the 5th seed in the playoffs where he was able to defeat David before eventually falling to Andrew in the second round.

2022 Record: 6-8 (3rd, lost in semifinals)

2021

Jackson-Leno Vortex

For the first time in what seemed like ever, Ryan did not initiate a mid-season rebrand. He did however secure a playoff spot and a 7-7 record. In the playoffs, he fell to eventual champion Andrew.

2021 Record: 7-7 (3rd, lost in semifinals)

2020

The Landlord’s Little D’s

2020 saw Ryan change his name midseason yet again (to Skunk Ape For President) and sneak into the playoffs with 6 wins. Once he got in, he made sure to make it count, ultimately snatching 3rd place in a consolation game against Andrew.

2020 Record: 6-7 (3rd, lost in semifinals)

2019

Toronto Arcanauts

Ryan’s 2019 season flew under the radar, at least to me. Quietly going 8-5, he strong armed his way to the league semifinals before falling to eventual champion Trent

2019 Record: 8-5 (4th, lost in semifinals)

2018

Jacksonville Jagxars

Ryan didn’t exactly bounce back after his championship loss in 2017. In fact, Ryan snuck in with the 6th seed in the playoffs before being bounced in grand fashion by eventual champion, Andrew. Maybe next year!

2018 Record: 6-7 (6th, lost in first round)

2017

Big Bopper Brands

After changing his team name halfway through the year (from Big Bopper Brand to Daddy Donald Banishes Lavar), Ryan finished first in a tight north division race to earn a bye in the playoffs. Ultimately, he fell to Brent’s HunieCams

2017 Record: 7-6 (2nd, lost in championship game)

2016

R.I.P. Harambe

Unlike his name, Ryan had a pretty relevant rookie season, being an offseason removed from the No-Name League. Despite posting a losing record, he won his first round playoff matchup before falling to the dominant Asheville Axemen.

2016 Record: 6-7 (3rd, lost in semifinals)
